The Role


The Enterprise Application Engineer II will be part of the Service Enablement team. This team is responsible for providing Level I/II technical support for internal systems including ServiceNow, Rally, and Sterling.
This position is located in Atlanta, GA. A successful candidate is required to live in Atlanta (or surrounding areas) and go into the office 2 or more times a week.

The Enterprise Applications Engineer II is responsible for daily support and maintenance of Cox Automotive's ServiceNow, Rally, and Sterling applications with a focus on Incident and Problem Management, Knowledge Management, Integrations, and Monitoring/Alerting. This role proactively identifies and responds to application and system issues ensuring proper analysis and troubleshooting steps are performed prior to incident closure. The EAE also provides superior service and assistance to end-users and stakeholders by serving as a support guide, quickly resolving user issues and increasing productivity.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide application support responsibilities to end-users of ServiceNow, Rally, and Sterling.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application issues.
  • Collaborate and partner with development teams to understand and support new features and functionality that goes live with each release.
  • Manage multiple support ticket queues.
  • Incident and Problem management.
  • Assist in the implementation of monitoring solutions using New Relic and Splunk
  • Automate manual routine tasks.



  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 5+ years of experience in a related field, or 8+ years' experience in lieu of degree.
  • ServiceNow System Administrator experience is preferred.
  • Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical applications.
  • Fluent coding experience with at least one of these languages: Python, Java, C#, JavaScript
  • Experience managing a support ticket queue.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Experience with version control systems (Git or SVN) and branching strategies is preferred.
  • Experience supporting solutions in AWS
