Sentara Health is looking to hire a Remote Enterprise Analytics Consultant.

The Enterprise Analytics Consultant supports executive leadership and Vice Presidents within the enterprise-wide analytic community, including Enterprise Analytics, Finance, and Strategy. Helps lead and coordinate major cross-functional analytics and governance initiatives in support of Sentara's top line strategic goals and Enterprise analytics divisional goals. Provides guidance across the analytic community around development of key analytic models, dashboards and strategic reporting, especially when cross-functional coordination is required. Takes a key role in developing and administering enterprise-level data governance functions.
As a subject matter expert, this role will require the use of analytic skills to offer data-driven conclusions and recommendations to business partners.
Domain knowledge in the following areas is preferred. While all are not required, the ideal candidate will demonstrate understanding of the following: Data exploration & visualization techniques; statistical and non-statistical modeling and optimization for predictive and prescriptive analytics; analytic programming; database management, including the role of master data management, data quality, ETL, storage, processing, and cloud computing; healthcare electronic medical record systems, billing systems, imaging systems, productivity and financial systems in ambulatory, acute, and post-acute settings. Business acumen around basic finance, accounting, operations, management & marketing.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Masters preferred.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in Business Acumen required.
- 5 years of experience in Statistics, Analytics and Healthcare required.
- 2 years of Project Management preferred.
- Must have experience coding in SQL (advanced)
- Must have experience working with Power BI (advanced)
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is: $101,080 – $176.820. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities
