We are looking for an outcomes-oriented, highly collaborative Enterprise Account Executive to join our business in New Zealand. In this role, you will be responsible for taking Salesforce's core product portfolio to market,  engaging enterprise customers, driving net new business, and building long-term strategic relationships at the C-suite level.

You will be covering the Energy & Utilities sector across New Zealand, a territory rich with opportunity and transformation. We are open to candidates from a range of enterprise sales backgrounds; prior experience in Energy & Utilities is not a prerequisite. What matters most is your ability to build trust with senior stakeholders, navigate complex sales cycles, and deliver outcomes for your customers.

Your Impact

  • Own and lead the end-to-end sales process for named Enterprise Energy & Utilities accounts in New Zealand, from pipeline generation through to close

  • Develop knowledge of your customers' business objectives, industry challenges, and digital transformation priorities,  building genuine expertise in the E&U sector over time

  • Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders across your accounts

  • Lead the end-to-end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources such as Sales teams, Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, and Partners

  • Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans that align Salesforce solutions to customer outcomes

  • Drive pipeline generation through both whitespace prospecting and growing existing accounts

  • Collaborate closely with Specialist AEs (Agentforce, Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Marketing Cloud, Slack) to deliver integrated, multi-cloud solutions

  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and rigorous account planning within Salesforce CRM

  • Represent Salesforce at industry events, forums, and customer engagements as you grow your presence in the NZ Energy & Utilities market


What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record of success in enterprise B2B technology sales, consistently meeting or exceeding quota

  • Experience selling into complex, regulated, or infrastructure-driven industries is advantageous,  prior Energy & Utilities experience is welcomed but not required

  • Genuine curiosity and a desire to develop expertise in the NZ Energy & Utilities market, including energy transition, grid modernisation, retail energy competition, and regulatory frameworks

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage credibly at C-suite level

  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to lead a virtual team across the Salesforce ecosystem

  • Strong account planning, territory management, and pipeline discipline

  • New Zealand market knowledge and existing networks will be a strong advantage

  • Familiarity with AI, CRM, SaaS, or platform-based solutions
