What You Will Do
This will be a key team member helping the organization deliver service excellence around the following activities: gaining efficiencies in provisioning Systems Engineering applications; helping program teams effectively use Systems Engineering tools; installation support and compliance hardening; tool migrations; troubleshooting tool related problems; tailoring tools to specific program needs; supplier engagement for roadmaps and issue resolution; and identifying and documenting Systems Engineering Solutions best practices. The duties of this job include but are not limited to:
- Manage deployments, upgrades and support for Systems Engineering tools including testing, data backups, compliance, tool integrations & configurations
- Lead a team of Tool Specialists in support and sustainment of Systems Engineering tools
- Champion the deployment of new and existing integrated Systems Engineering solutions, and consult with programs on the implementation
- Identify, document, and champion best practices and improvements which help increase the efficiency of our software deployment and support
- Work with program Engineers to plan and implement migrations off legacy Systems Engineering applications to modern tools
- Engage strategic vendors for Systems Engineering technology evaluations and improvements which will address Raytheon needs
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.
- Experience in the application of engineering tools/solutions in two or more of the following Systems and Software Engineering capability areas: Architecture/Modeling, Math & Analysis, Modeling & Simulation, Model Based Systems Engineering, & Advanced Analysis & Test
- Experience with Agile or Model Based Engineering practices, tools, and methods
- Admin experience with Windows and Linux, along with scripting / automation background with the ability to troubleshoot / solve complex problems

Qualifications We Prefer
- Program experience in roles of increasing technical leadership and responsibility
- Detailed working knowledge (including day to day use on a program) of Modeling & Simulation tools such as STK, MAK, ExtendSim, SimulationView or ArcGIS
- In-depth understanding of data center and cloud-based hosting architectures
- Systems, Software, and IV&V Engineering Processes and Integrated Product Development Process (IPDP), best practices, and work instructions expertise
- Self-directed with demonstrated ability to organize and provide technical leadership for a team spread out across multiple US Locations and possessing a wide variety of technical skills/backgrounds.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools, particularly Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and oral communications skills including presentation and negotiation skills, preparing management level briefings and summary explanations

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Skills Required
