We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

PayPal, Inc. seeks Engineering Program Mgmt 4 in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Deliver business features to improve authorization rates and revenue with the Growth Markets - Program Management team. Responsible for end-to-end execution, stakeholder management, risk management, streamlining program governance, identifying and removing program impediments, engaging cross-domain alignment, external partner engagement, and program management activities. Create a release/program roadmap and ensure all teams align with enterprise planning expectations. Define launch strategy for new product capabilities including geographic scope and rollouts, detailed timing, ramp, and analytics plan. Coordinate and manage stakeholder groups to establish interdependencies, identify risks and resource constraints, and eliminate significant roadblocks in a timely fashion. Ensure regular, active communication with adjacent programs and external stakeholders, including international regions. Identify program impediments and address including proper escalation to individuals/groups as needed. Lead effective project/program governance and stakeholder management, ensuring adequate understanding of timelines, resource needs, risks, contentions, and dependencies. Assess the current methodology, identify/rationalize gaps vs. best practices, and continuously improve the process to support an aggressive deployment schedule.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered, as an engineering program manager, or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered, as an engineering program manager, or a related occupation.

Additional Job Description:

Base Salary: $179,171.00-234,300.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
