About the Role

The Engineering Product Leader will serve as a key technical and manufacturing authority within the organization, taking end-to-end engineering ownership across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with R&D, Supply Chain , Customer Support, and contract manufacturing partners to drive engineering excellence, achieve key performance indicators, and ensure product quality, reliability, and operational performance.

What Will You Do?

  •         Own end-to-end engineering performance across the product lifecycle, from NPI and production ramp-up through installed-base support, driving product quality, reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, and operational performance.
  •         Lead cross-functional resolution of critical and complex product issues across production, integration, and the field, setting priorities and driving robust root-cause analysis, technical decisions, corrective actions, and closure across multidisciplinary domains.
  •         Serve as the senior technical authority for manufacturing quality and product manufacturability, driving engineering decisions and systemic improvements that ensure robust, production to reduce manufacturing defects and field issues, and improve overall product quality and reliability .
  •         Own the Engineering interface for NPI and product industrialization, leading engineering readiness and product transfer to production while coordinating risks, requirements, deliverables, and closure across R&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and contract manufacturing partners.
  •         Drive design-for-excellence and engineering maturity throughout product development, influencing design decisions and ensuring manufacturability, testability, serviceability, integration readiness, BOM/product structure, ATPs, documentation, and tooling are mature for release and scale-up.
  •         Own engineering change management and product configuration governance, leading ECOs and CCB activities and ensuring changes are technically robust, properly prioritized, cross-functionally aligned, and effectively implemented across production and the installed base.
  •         Drive continuous improvement and engineering excellence, establishing and tracking engineering KPIs, identifying systemic opportunities across quality, cost, reliability, and operational efficiency, and embedding lessons learned from NPI, production, and field performance into future products and engineering practices.
Requirements

What Should You Have?

  •         BSc in Mechanical, Systems, or Electronics Engineering – mandatory
  •         5+ years of experience in an Engineering, Product Engineering, NPI or R&D environment, including ownership of complex multidisciplinary activities
  •         Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering activities and managing NPI/product transfer to production in a high-tech company
  •         Hands-on experience with NPI, product industrialization and production ramp-up, including engineering readiness and cross-functional risk management
  •         Strong hands-on experience in system integration, production support, and/or field troubleshooting
  •         Knowledge of manufacturing technologies (machining, sheet metal, casting, extrusion) – advantage
  •         Proven experience driving DFx methodologies and influencing product design for manufacturability, quality, serviceability and cost
  •         Strong program/project leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to set priorities, manage risks, influence stakeholders and drive execution in a matrix organization
  •         Experience with the printing industry or other multidisciplinary systems – must
  •         High proficiency in English, both written and spoken - must
  •         Experience with ERP/PLM tools (Arena/Oracle) – must
  •         Experience with AI, data analytics, Python, or similar technologies – significant advantage.

Skills Required

  • B.Sc. or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 7+ years experience in Product Engineering, Systems Engineering, Integration, Reliability Engineering, NPI, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with complex multidisciplinary systems and industrial electromechanical products.
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical investigations and drive cross-functional issue resolution to closure.
  • Deep understanding of system integration, manufacturing processes, field support, and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience leading root-cause analysis, reliability improvement programs, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience with industrial printing systems, capital equipment, or complex electromechanical products.
  • Background in NPI, manufacturing scale-up, and product lifecycle support.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and global operations.
  • Familiarity with PLM, ECO, and configuration management processes.
  • Knowledge of quality and reliability methodologies, statistical analysis, and failure analysis techniques.
  • Experience with AI, data analytics, or Python.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
