We're looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team. Our managers take on a player/coach role, balancing technical leadership, execution, and people management. The primary responsibility of Engineering Managers is to build and develop strong teams while ensuring high-impact results. We empower engineers to take ownership of problems and support them with mentorship, guidance, and business context.
As an Engineering Manager, you will:
- Drive team impact by fostering high technical productivity and reliability.
- Cultivate a healthy, results-driven, and collaborative team culture.
- Represent the team in engineering-wide planning, initiatives, and processes.
- Partner with Product Managers and Designers to shape our technical roadmap and solve problems that improve the patient and doctor experience.
- Set and communicate clear team objectives that align with Counterpart's company goals and roadmap.
- Lead hiring, development, and retention efforts to build a high-performing team.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $180,000 to $230,000. Final pay is based on several factors including but not limited to internal equity, market data, and the applicant’s education, work experience, certifications, etc.
