Engineering Manager (Salesforce)

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You own the end-to-end success of our Salesforce platform domain, from architecture and design through deployment at global scale
• You set the technical direction for major SFDC initiatives, reviewing platform architecture and ensuring your team ships with both quality and speed
• You lead, grow, and retain a high-performing team of Salesforce engineers — setting clear goals, removing blockers, and actively investing in each person's development
• You drive tight collaboration between Engineering, Product, and Business, translating commercial needs into scalable technical solutions
• You champion AI-assisted development and automation-first thinking across your team's daily workflows
• You manage senior stakeholder expectations and navigate complex technical and commercial trade-offs with clarity and confidence

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Experience You bring 13+ years in software engineering and at least 2 years leading mid-to-large engineering teams — how you got there matters more than where you studied
• Salesforce Expertise You have deep hands-on knowledge of Salesforce, including Apex, Triggers, Lightning Flows, LWC, and modern web technologies such as JavaScript and Web Components
• AI & Automation You actively use AI tools — whether Agentforce, GitHub Copilot, or similar — to accelerate delivery, and you set the same expectation for your team
• Ways of Working You are fluent in Agile and Scrum, and you know how to make distributed, cross-functional teams work well together
• Communication You communicate with precision — aligning engineers, influencing business leaders, and writing technical decisions that stick
• Mindset You thrive in fast-moving environments, lead with curiosity, and see ambiguity as an opportunity rather than an obstacle
