APL Norway AS is seeking experienced Engineering Manager(s) to drive the technical execution of our projects. The Engineering Manager will own engineering scope, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and guarantee that all engineering deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and are completed on schedule.
Responsibilities- Define and manage the engineering scope and schedule for assigned projects.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables meet APL's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate closely with the Project Management Team to align engineering activities with overall project milestones.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep engineering work on track.
- Facilitate communication between engineering, procurement, construction, and operations stakeholders.
- Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across engineering processes.
- Represent the engineering function in client and partner meetings as needed.
- Report engineering performance metrics to senior management.
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in relevant Engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering project leadership within the oil & gas or offshore industry.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and quality management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Primavera) and engineering software.
- Fluent in English; Norwegian language skills are an advantage.
