What You’ll Do- Drive a culture of reliability and innovation in ML systems development
- Lead the your team to develop the next generation feature development systems to power low-latency ML applications in a cost effective and developer friendly manner, leveraging technologies like feature stores and real-time data pipelines
- Establish, measure, and manage reliability and data quality standards of mission critical ML systems
- Advocate for architectural best practices in cloud platform development across the organization.
- Partner with cross-functional teams in product, data science, and across engineering to define roadmaps and deliver high-priority projects
- Mentor and grow a high-performing team of engineers while fostering an inclusive culture of innovation.
We’re seeking candidates passionate about technology, leadership, and innovation. Ideal qualifications include:
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering or data science roles, with 2+ years in technical leadership or management.
- 3+ years experience in delivering ML applications solving real world problems
- Strong knowledge of software development best practices, cloud computing platforms, big data technologies, MLOps toolkits, and SLO-driven reliability management.
- Proven ability to build and lead distributed teams across geographies while fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Experience in eCommerce, financial services, or related industries is a bonus
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of mentoring engineers.
