We are currently looking for Engineering Manager who is poised for professional growth and eager to make a substantial impact. This role offers you the chance to utilize your expertise in designing and constructing a robust and scalable Application Development Platform. You will get a chance to collaborate closely with our application developers equipping them with essential tools and services to excel in their tasks efficiently. Our Platform Engineering team is dedicated to building a reliable and scalable application development platform on GCP/Azure. You'll spearhead the development of critical common services and implement cutting-edge tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD,and Kubernetes to streamline the CI/CD process, ensuring rapid and reliable software leases. Your role will also involve implementing monitoring solutions with tools like Prometheus , Grafana, New Relic, alongside performance optimization strategies to ensure the highest levels of availability, reliability and performance. Security is paramount, and you'll play a pivotal role in implementing and upholding best practices across our infrastructure, encompassing network security, access controls, and data protection. Embrace a culture of innovation by staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in platform engineering and DevOps.
What we expect from you:
10 + years experience in leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support the platform and services.
Extensive experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Strong hands-on knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
Proficiency in at least two programming languages, preferably Python and GoLang
Experience with CI / CD tools (Octopus, Gitlab, TeamCity)
Experience with Cloud native and open-source monitoring and visualization tools (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic)
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, etc.
Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and best practices
Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to
work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment, while producing quality code
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and adaptation
Experience with deployment methods like GitOps and ArgoCD
Lead efforts to enhance the security posture of our platform, including implementing security controls and compliance measures.
Experience leading or mentoring teams is a plus.
Proven experience in a Team leader role within software engineering
