- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap for cloud-native application development, aligning with overall product strategy and business objectives.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Architectural Oversight: Guide the architectural design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native applications using microservices, containers (e.g., Docker), and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Development Lifecycle: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, deployment, and operational support, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Technology Adoption: Drive the adoption of modern cloud technologies, tools, and methodologies (e.g., CI/CD, DevOps, GitOps), including AI-powered development tools and Low Code/No code (LCNC) platforms, to enhance development efficiency and product quality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product Management, other R&D teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure seamless integration across systems.
- Performance & Scalability: Ensure applications are designed for high performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability in a cloud environment.
- Budget & Resource Management: Manage R&D budgets, resources, and project timelines effectively to deliver on commitments.
- Industry Trends: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in cloud-native development, AI, and LCNC, incorporating relevant advancements into our strategy.
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- At least 10 years of experience in R&D, software development, or technology leadership roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts, machine learning and their practical application in software development.
- Demonstrated expertise in Software Architecture and Design and programming languages viz. Python, Java
- Hands-on experience and proficiency with AI-powered coding assistants such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and application architecture principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across an organization.
Nice-To-Have:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.
- Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools.
- Experience in telecommunications domain or related high-tech industries.
