As a Software Engineering Intern on the Rhone team, you will support the development and validation of low-level software solutions focused on virtualization and embedded platforms. You will collaborate with engineering teams working on operating systems, device-level technologies, and virtualization environments.
Your Responsibilities
- Support software development activities in Linux and Unix environments.
- Assist with low-level systems programming and debugging.
- Contribute to projects involving device-level software and system components.
- Work with operating system and device driver concepts.
- Support development and testing activities related to virtualization technologies.
- Review technical documentation and hardware specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on embedded software projects.
- Participate in software validation and troubleshooting activities.
Your Background
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong interest in low-level software development and embedded systems.
- Knowledge of C programming.
- Familiarity with Linux or Unix operating environments.
- Coursework in Operating Systems, Device Drivers, Embedded Systems, or related areas.
- Understanding of hardware-software interaction concepts.
- Knowledge or exposure to QEMU is highly desirable.
- Interest in virtualization technologies and system-level software development.
- Experience with embedded or operating systems projects is a plus.
