Your Impact

  • Lead the evolution of our application security to define a DevSecOps engagement model
  • Design, implement, and evolve an AppSec program
  • Participate and contribute to the development and execution of the Security strategy and roadmap
  • Give frequent feedback and coaching to team members. Coordinate with team members from around the organization to gain a full understanding of your team’s performance
  • Focus on improving service delivery through effective use of best practices and industry standards

Your Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills

  • 10+ years of experience in security
  • 4+ years of experience managing teams
  • Experience in executing application security assessments as well as have a passion for teaching this skill to your team
  • Expert in establishing successful partnerships with key stakeholders such as engineering managers, product managers, and business owners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate technical details in a clear, understandable manner to multiple levels of an organization.
  • Experience defining multi-year strategy and roadmaps.
  • Collective ownership and contribution, wherever it comes from, and believe in peer review, continuous integration, test coverage and customer validation
  • Advanced project management skills including time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring

Preferred Skills

Adding additional insight, and a growth mindset, will elevate your contribution in this role

  • Strong understanding of secure SDLC
  • Deep knowledge of application security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and mitigation techniques.
  • Familiarity with Governance, Risk and Compliance issues and solutions as it relates to Identity Management
  • Demonstrated competency in resolving diverse and complex business problems
  • Knowledge about Docker/Kubernetes and container infrastructure would be a plus.
