About this opportunity

We are looking for an Integration Engineer to join our team. Cloud solutions and enablers in our customer's sophisticated network. You get to work with the outstanding local and distributed team, while interacting closely with our customers. You will lead technology strategy, be responsible for architecture design, development, integrate and documentation using groundbreaking engineering and delivery practice

The role focuses on performing design, audit, and optimization of services, where you will be accountable for part of the solution and of the service process. Hereby, you should be able to keep time, performance, and quality according to Ericsson requirements and customer contracts.

What you will do

  • Be responsible for the production configuration, integration, and validation of Cloud solutions
  • Use applicable processes and procedures to upgrade existing or build new network/systems
  • Analyze customer needs and requirements in co-operation with the assigned Solution Architect
  • Ensure that the delivered solutions/systems are accurately verified and work in accordance with the agreed requirements
  • Detail the implemented solution and train customers
  • Interact with customers, 3rd Party suppliers and other Ericsson Service Delivery organizations

You will bring

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields (IT, Telecom etc.)
  • 5-8 years' experience of integration, deployment, and system test
  • Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.)
  • Experience working with software in a virtualized/cloud environment
  • Experience working in live deployments Cloud solutions
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and scripting
  • Certifications in Kubernetes, Openstack or other equivalent certifications
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in Linux and Kubernetes environments
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in Container Networking (CNIs Calico/Multus), Heat templates, Ansible and Helm Charts
  • Hands-on experience in Cloud Networking, L2/L3 networking protocols, Calico, MetalLB and Load Balancer concepts
  • Hands-on experience detailing Test Results and Root-Cause-Analysis
  • Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Juniper and Extreme Switches and Routers
  • Good experience working with HTTP(S), TCP/IP, REST API and other Internet protocols
  • Worked with Cloud Storage backend technologies such as Ceph, Cinder, Manila, iSCSI and/or ZFS
  • Good understanding of Cloud Native Performance Benchmarking Tools for Networking and Storage.
  • Expertise in YAML, Linux commands and Shell scripting
  • Application and solution development experience using Linux Containers, Docker, etc
  • Good understanding of the Cloud Native Security principles and tools
  • Good understanding of Datacenter Design, Networking and CLOS Topology.

You might also have:

  • Familiarity with Go and Python programming
  • Experience integrating sophisticated systems in customer environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities/tasks and work under pressure to meet customer expectations, deadlines, and targets
