About this opportunity:
Ericsson is currently seeking a dynamic Specialist - CS Core, based in Noida, supporting Ericsson network architectures in a 24x7 environment. This is a hands-on, senior technical role owning configuration, troubleshooting, security compliance and operational integrity for CS Core and IMS network nodes. You will work closely with customers, third-party vendors and internal Ericsson teams to ensure stable live service delivery, drive continuous improvements to processes and procedures, and mentor peers to raise overall competence.
What you will do:
• Take ownership of day-to-day administration and support of CS Core and IMS nodes (configuration, upgrades/patches, health checks, backups).• Monitor, review and drive closure of Trouble Tickets (TT), Change Requests (CR) and Acceptance Tests (AT); escalate and coordinate when needed.• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance; execute planned maintenance windows.• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis for incidents and outages; prepare outage reports and follow-up remediation.• Ensure MSTOP and other workplace processes are followed; enforce password, security and audit policies.• Participate in technical discussions to improve network performance and resilience; recommend and implement best-practice changes.• Interface with customers, 3rd-party vendors and project teams to ensure smooth handovers and successful deliveries.• Create and improve procedures, runbooks and routine documentation; support audits and compliance activities.• Mentor and guide peers, share knowledge and promote a culture of continuous learning.
The skills you bring:
• B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication (or equivalent).• 3-7 years' experience in the telecom industry, with demonstrated experience in CS Core and IMS domains. Experience with Ericsson networks preferred.• Comfortable working in a 24x7 support environment and handling emergency incidents.• Strong practical knowledge of CS Core and IMS network nodes and their behavior (call flows, call scenarios, AT cases).• Protocol expertise: SS7, ISUP, BICC, SIGTRAN, INAP, CAP, TCAP, MAP, SCCP, SIP, SDP, GTP, Diameter.• Ericsson core hardware and virtual nodes (examples: Blade Cluster, APG 43L, M-MGw GMPv4, SIS-BC, BSP-BC, APZ series, and virtual IMS nodes such as SBG, BGF, MRS).• Solid understanding of 2G/3G/4G/LTE and VoLTE/IMS architectures and performance characteristics.• Proven troubleshooting, problem analysis and incident management skills (TT/CSR/TR/SR lifecycle).• Familiarity with operational tasks: configuration management, CR execution, AT/acceptance processes, backups and health checks.• Experience interfacing with customers, vendors and cross-functional teams.
