This is your new jobAs an Engineer II, you will be responsible for driving process excellence, yield improvement, and manufacturing stability within a high-volume semiconductor production environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, solve complex production challenges, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the production line.
What will you work on?
  • Own and optimize critical semiconductor manufacturing processes to ensure world-class quality, yield, and productivity.
  • Drive defect reduction, yield improvement, and cost optimization projects through data-driven problem-solving methodologies.
  • Support new product introductions, process qualifications, equipment qualifications, and manufacturing ramp activities.
  • Develop and sustain robust process controls to ensure stable production performance.
  • Lead investigations into manufacturing issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Scope of Responsibilities
Daily Tasks
  • Monitor process performance, yield metrics, and quality indicators.
  • Analyze process and production data to identify trends, abnormalities, and improvement opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot process deviations and coordinate containment actions when required.
  • Review equipment performance and collaborate with maintenance and equipment teams to improve uptime and reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance to technicians and production operators.
     
Project Assignments
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield enhancement, scrap reduction, cycle time improvement, and cost savings.
  • Execute process optimization projects using statistical tools and structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Support process transfer, qualification, and validation activities.
  • Participate in automation and digitalization initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

  • Maintaining high process stability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Managing multiple priorities across production, quality, and engineering requirements.
  • Delivering sustainable yield improvements while meeting production targets.
  • Resolving complex process and quality issues under tight timelines.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical/Electronics, Materials, or equivalent)
  • 2 to 5 years of manufacturing or semiconductor engineering experience
