What will you work on?
- Own and optimize critical semiconductor manufacturing processes to ensure world-class quality, yield, and productivity.
- Drive defect reduction, yield improvement, and cost optimization projects through data-driven problem-solving methodologies.
- Support new product introductions, process qualifications, equipment qualifications, and manufacturing ramp activities.
- Develop and sustain robust process controls to ensure stable production performance.
- Lead investigations into manufacturing issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Scope of ResponsibilitiesDaily Tasks
- Monitor process performance, yield metrics, and quality indicators.
- Analyze process and production data to identify trends, abnormalities, and improvement opportunities.
- Troubleshoot process deviations and coordinate containment actions when required.
- Review equipment performance and collaborate with maintenance and equipment teams to improve uptime and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance to technicians and production operators.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield enhancement, scrap reduction, cycle time improvement, and cost savings.
- Execute process optimization projects using statistical tools and structured problem-solving techniques.
- Support process transfer, qualification, and validation activities.
- Participate in automation and digitalization initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintaining high process stability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Managing multiple priorities across production, quality, and engineering requirements.
- Delivering sustainable yield improvements while meeting production targets.
- Resolving complex process and quality issues under tight timelines.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical/Electronics, Materials, or equivalent)
- 2 to 5 years of manufacturing or semiconductor engineering experience
- Process engineering and problem-solving
- Root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA)
- Data analysis and SPC
- Yield and quality improvement
- Analytical thinking
- Team collaboration
- Effective communication
- Semiconductor assembly or power module experience
- DOE, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
