The Role
Evaluates Nissan, Infiniti, and competitor vehicles through digital, static, and dynamic testing. Sets vehicle and system performance targets, documents development activities, conducts plant audits and launch support, and leads cross-functional project activities. Benchmarks competitive vehicles, analyzes customer and media feedback, and identifies opportunities to improve product attractiveness, customer satisfaction, performance, and cost optimization. Travel within North America and Japan is required approximately 15–20%.

Job functions Include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting digital, static, and dynamic evaluations of Nissan, Infiniti, and competitor vehicles.
  • Setting vehicle and system-level performance targets for assigned vehicle programs.
  • Documenting all test and development activities through test reports and meeting minutes.
  • Defining the essential factors to improve attractiveness of Nissan products and reduce customer dissatisfaction.
  • Planning, scheduling, and carrying out tests, plant audits, and launch support to assess full-vehicle performance target achievement.
  • Leading project development activities and communicating effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Benchmarking of competitive vehicle performance, specifications, and features to understand opportunities for further improvements and cost optimizations.
  • Review of internal and external survey data for customer feedback in conjunction with media reviews to assess product acceptance and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent degree from an accredited university is required
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; preferred 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
  • Exposure to Siemens-NX, Catia, or other CAD PDM programs
  • Ability to travel within North America and Japan approximately 15-20% as required

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent degree from an accredited university

  • Five years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Exposure to Siemens NX, CATIA, or other CAD/PDM programs
  • Ability to travel within North America and Japan approximately 15–20% as required
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
