Make Your Mark:
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented leader to join our global Professional Services organization as the Engagement Director of Professional Services for ANZ. This key role will oversee all customer engagements and lead Professional Services (PS) activities across Australia and New Zealand, reporting directly to the VP of Professional Services for EMEA/APAC.
As Engagement Director, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of customer onboarding, implementation, and post-go-live services in the ANZ region. Your focus will be on ensuring high-quality execution, delivering measurable business outcomes, and maintaining exceptional client satisfaction throughout the entire customer lifecycle.
You will have full accountability for regional services performance, including revenue and utilization metrics, while driving operational excellence and scaling delivery capabilities. The role also involves close collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and other internal and regional stakeholders to ensure a seamless integrated customer experience.
As the leader of a high-performing services team, you will drive strategic consulting engagements and support clients in realizing long-term value from their investment. Your leadership will be key to expanding our presence in the ANZ market while aligning regional practices with global Professional Services standards.
You'll Get To:
Strategic Leadership & Regional Alignment
  • Define and execute the strategic direction for Professional Services (PS) in the ANZ region, aligning with global objectives and regional business priorities.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Professional Services (EMEA/APAC) and other regional leaders to drive cross-functional alignment and contribute regional insights to global initiatives.
  • Represent ANZ in global leadership forums, bringing forward market trends, client expectations, and regional challenges to shape broader business strategy.

Professional Services Delivery & Execution
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of customer implementations, ensuring operational excellence, timely execution, and high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and refine scalable delivery models tailored to the ANZ market, while maintaining alignment with global standards and best practices.
  • Drive performance against key KPIs-including time-to-value, utilization, delivery quality, and customer satisfaction-through effective governance and team support.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex or at-risk projects, ensuring rapid issue resolution and recovery planning.

Sales Partnership & Revenue Growth
  • Partner with regional sales leaders to drive PS bookings, increase attach rates, and support strategic pre-sales engagements.
  • Collaborate on account strategies and help refine service offerings to drive value realization and revenue growth.
  • Contribute to accurate forecasting and capacity planning, ensuring delivery teams are aligned with pipeline expectations and revenue goals.
  • Own Professional Services revenue performance for the ANZ region, ensuring quarterly and annual financial targets are met or exceeded.

Customer Success & Engagement
  • Ensure Professional Services engagements deliver tangible business value and long-term success for customers.
  • Build and nurture executive-level relationships with key customers in ANZ, serving as a trusted advisor and senior escalation point when needed.
  • Work closely with Customer Success, Product, and Support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, aligning on customer needs and business objectives.

Partner Ecosystem & Capacity Expansion
  • Align with delivery partners to scale capacity, ensure quality execution, and extend the reach of the Professional Services team.
  • Support and guide partner-led implementations, ensuring adherence to delivery methodology and client success standards.

Team Leadership & Talent Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Professional Services professionals across the ANZ region.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
  • Prepare the team to manage a range of deployments from complex enterprise implementations to efficient, standardized engagements.

What You'll Bring:
Years of Experience in Related Field: 12+ years of management experience (staff and budget responsibility); 12 years of experience in SaaS industry; 10+ years of experience in a services delivery function with a global enterprise software solutions company
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Extensive experience of ERP and/or Financial systems deployments
  • Knowledge of project management software such as Certinia PSA
  • Knowledge or experience with CRM tools, such as Salesforce

Other:
  • Demonstrated strategic thinker with a track record of scaling and profitably growing a professional services business focused on predictable implementation.
  • Proven ability to drive organizational change and align teams to meet corporate and departmental objectives.
  • Ability to scale a professional services organization to meet aggressive annual growth targets.
  • Strong leadership abilities to motivate and manage a team of managers and individual contributors.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to C-level executives and external clients.
  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple complex projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience scoping and estimating project efforts, documenting solutions in Statements of Work (SOWs), and presenting to customers.

  • Large consulting firm experience preferred.
  • CPA preferred, or similar accounting certification.
