Position Summary
The Employee Experience Specialist (contract) is a unique role at Harness. You will project manage employee experiences programs and partner with Total Rewards and Workplace teams during the assignment.
What You’ll Do
- Helps support company-wide people initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience.
- Plan, organize and deliver employee events (in person and virtual) to continue to help a culture of connection.
- Helps manage employee recognition programs centered around Harness culture and manage budgets of the current existing programs.
- Supports and manages Hackweek along with local partners in different offices.
- Analyze surveys to evaluate program effectiveness and implement improvements.
- Coordinate with the Workplace team on swag ordering and inventory for programs.
- Coordinate, help facilitate and support office events as needed.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a related field with 4–7 years’ experience in Human Resources or Employee Experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter and quick learner.
- Comfortable with “first to arrive, last to leave” event support.
- Technology industry experience is a plus.
Work Location
This role is based out of our San Francisco, CA office.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60/ hour - $70/ hour for a 6 month contract. Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, and skills. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
