Compensation and Benefits Manager
Primary Responsibilities
Supervises team members in administration of corporate and statutory benefits
Develop and execute strategic employee wellness programs and initiatives. Specific Responsibilities
Benefits
Manage and administer rewards programs . Ensure that incentives pertaining to the company’s monthly incentive program are distributed to concerned departments.
Facilitates shine and refresher orientation
Liaise with the 3rd party providers on the requirements for the following protective benefits of employees
o Health insurance of employees and dependents
o Group Life Insurance
o Accident Insurance
o Memorial Plan
Facilitate new and renewal enrollment of employees to HMO, Group Life Insurance and other benefits
Oversee, executes, implements and mobilize the following employee services following the established calendar set at the beginning of the year:
o Company Uniform
o Annual Physical Examination
o Annual Random Drug Testing
o Annual vaccination programs (Flu, Cervical)
o Service Awards
Compliance
Administer and ensure renewal of certifications and other permits as required by the private and government organizations
Represent the company during the external audit eg DOLE inspection audit
Develop and communicate positive employee relations strategies and retention initiatives that foster and promote a culture of excellence.
Act as the Human Resources communications coordinator for the launch of special programs and events.
Administers and manages the rewards and recognition programs within SGS
Connect to the diffent teams and provide guidance in creating incentive programs
To participate and lead on specific projects as directed by the Compensation, Benefits and Compliance Manager.
To take responsibility for own continuous professional development
Quality, Safety and Health
Acts as representative of HR-GSS to QHSE meetings to ensure compliance Meeting company health and safety goals
Support and implement OHS policies and programs
Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis
Demonstrates strong commitment to SGS HSE Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions by participating in safety meetings, completing required training, intervening in unsafe situations, refusing unsafe work, and complying fully with all applicable laws and regulations related to HSE.
Supervision
Oversee team’s workflow and tasks
Set individual performance goals of the team consistent and aligned with the company’s goals and objectives
Train , support the new hires of new roles and facilitate transition process
Delegate work assignments
Create and manage team schedules
Guide and help the team in resolving employee issues and disputes
Evaluate performance and provide feedback
Review, implement and continuously improve processes.
Support the Compensation and Benefits Manager in regularly reviewing the policies and updating accordingly
Others
Perform other related duties as required and assigned by Compensation, Benefits and Compliance Manager and HR Country Director.
