  • Lead the planning, setup, and execution of EMI/EMC testing for complex electronic systems and subsystems in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Define test strategies, select appropriate methods (e.g., CE/RE/CS/RS per MIL‑STD‑461, MIL‑STD‑464, and DO‑160), and oversee execution in EMI chambers, shielded rooms, and bench test environments.
  • Confidently operate and guide others in the use of oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF preamplifiers, LISNs, transient generators, antennas, and other EMI test equipment needed for test campaigns.
  • Lead data analysis, identify and document non‑compliances, and drive root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting of EMI/EMC issues in partnership with design, systems, and integration teams.
  • Recommend and help validate design and mitigation changes (filters, shielding, grounding, cable routing, layout adjustments) to achieve EMI/EMC compliance.
  • Develop, review, and approve EMI/EMC test procedures, test configurations, and formal test reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and configuration control.
  • Coordinate test readiness reviews, lab readiness activities, and interactions with internal and external test facilities.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians, promoting best practices in EMI testing, lab safety, and effective teamwork.
  • Communicate clearly in cross‑functional team meetings, presenting test status, risks, and recommended actions to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude and flexibility to support extended work weeks and weekend test campaigns when required to meet critical program milestones.

  • Demonstrated expertise operating and configuring oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF preamps, LISNs, transient generators, and related EMI test equipment.
  • Proven ability to lead troubleshooting and resolution of EMI/EMC test failures, including recommending and validating design or mitigation strategies.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers or technicians in EMI/EMC test methods, lab processes, and teamwork.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to support extended work weeks and weekend testing to meet program objectives.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, CA.
