The Role

HubSpot’s PreSales team has seen tremendous growth, fuelled by our commitment to create a great experience for our customers and scaling our GTM support model to meet increasing market demands. We're seeking an EMEA PreSales Upmarket Director to join our dynamic team and help shape the next phase of our journey.

As the EMEA Upmarket Director, you will be instrumental in steering the PreSales team towards excellence in the Upmarket segment. You will provide strategic leadership and spearhead initiatives that promote growth and efficiency, anchoring our presence and impact in the upmarket segment. This role requires a seasoned leader who can coach and mentor managers, drive regional strategies, and ensure alignment with global objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Coaching: Lead a team of 4-5 managers, fostering operational excellence with a focus on Upmarket alignment.
  • Strategic Direction: Utilise data, KPIs, and OKRs to guide the PreSales teams, aligning efforts with Upmarket segment leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Play an active role in implementing HubSpot’s Upmarket strategy, enhancing feedback loops for product development.
  • Global Alignment: Collaborate with the Global PreSales leadership team to evolve the Upmarket space, ensuring synergy with global Upmarket Segment Leaders.


Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within PreSales or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of Upmarket and/or SB segments, with a track record of driving growth.
  • Has second-line management experience, ‬with a proven record of leading large teams, fostering a diverse, inclusive, and purposeful team environment, and has led‬ PreSales strategy to accelerate sales, developing technical go-to-market‬ motions for large customer acquisition.
  • Has experience leading‬‭ technical teams in an Upmarket environment, demonstrating the ability to‬ manage complexity and scale a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive experience influencing internally (at all levels of the organization including senior leadership teams) and‬ externally (customers and partners). Experience building and maintaining strong‬ relationships, with the ability to build trust, influence, and work cross-functionally.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a track record of data-driven decision making.
