Valeo’s Site located in Étaples-sur-Mer, France is a Research & Development center and a production Site. It employs over 1,200 people working on the development and manufacture of electric powertrain solutions (Inverter, Alternator, etc).
We are currently seeking an Electronics Engineer (Hardware) M/F who will carry out engineering tasks, contribute to problem-solving, and support the development of new products and technologies.
Your responsibilities :
- Help define technical specifications and adapt existing electronic architectures to meet our customers’ specific needs
- Perform hardware integration of electronic subassemblies
- Define and execute test and validation plans (functional, environmental, EMC) to ensure product compliance
- Contribute your technical expertise when responding to requests for proposals
- Identify alternative components to address obsolescence and part number changes. Streamline costs and secure the supply chain.
- Assess and validate the technical and industrial impact of changes in components or suppliers
- Serve as an expert to lead impact analysis and resolve quality crises
- Conduct root cause analysis and propose sustainable corrective and preventive actions
- Present and participate in internal meetings and client meetings as needed
About you :
You hold a master’s degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering and have at least 5 years of professional experience in the development and design of hardware products.
You have worked in a hands-on environment, closely involved with production challenges.
You are also proficient in problem-solving methods such as PDCA and 8D.
Experience with high-voltage products such as DC/DC converters, OBCs, and inverters is a plus.
Dynamic and meticulous, you are known for your organizational skills and your ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in demanding environments.
You are fluent in English and enjoy working in international environments.
