About the role The repair of electrical rotating machinery and associated equipment.QESH – Adhere to the Company QESH systems within Workshop / Dept to complete projects / Tasks and actively promote a clean and safe work environment at all times. Report all risks, near misses and Incidents to line manager and in Quality system.
Corporate Policies & Directives – Follow and adhere to all Company and SC policy requirements as directed by SC Management.

Planning – Ensure planning of workshop projects in on schedule and to time budget
Skills / Role Responsibilities -
The repair of LV & HV electrical rotating machinery
Assemble and disassemble electrical rotating equipment
Conduct static and dynamic tests to electrical equipment
Rewind electric motors and generators (desirable)
Perform Balancing on Motors (desirable)
Perform EX (explosive atmosphere) works (desirable)
Goods ordering when required
Take direction from Supervisor to ensure day to day section runs effectively
Attend onsite to effectively conduct repair of electrical rotating equipment
Housekeeping duties as required
National and international travel when required, sometimes at short notice
Education requirements
CERT III in Electrotechnology or above / equivalent
State issues Electrical License/permit
Key skills / Experience / Role Requirement
Experience in repair and rewind of DC motors, medium to High Voltage electrical motors and generators,
Attention to detail
High level of communication skills.
Good level of time management.
Ability to engage and work with others.
Dedication to working in a safe manner at all times

Skills Required
