About the job:

Handle the electrical scope of several mid and large-size projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery according to established timelines and budgets. Perform electrical engineering activities, including specification of complete electrical systems, control panels, starter panels, HMI panels, cabling, technical documentation, manuals, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). Prepare technical specifications and Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for MCCs and other electrical panels based on inputs from Process and Automation Engineers. Specify electrical components and systems for customer projects, systems, and plants. Participate in proposal development, sales support activities, and customer meetings related to electrical engineering topics. Drive cost optimization initiatives by improving design solutions, procurement strategies, and project execution methods. Support equipment start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities remotely or on customer sites when required. Implement and maintain standardized electrical workflows, templates, and engineering practices to ensure efficiency, quality, and consistency across projects. Collaborate with Purchasing to develop electrical suppliers, panel manufacturers, and supply chain capabilities. Manage multiple hardware and electrical projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with project schedules and budgets defined by the Project Manager. Contribute to the development and implementation of standardized tender material and documentation for electrical and hardware solutions.

What you know:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within industrial systems, process industries, marine, energy, or similar environments. Proven experience with electrical system design, MCCs, control panels, HMI systems, and technical documentation. Experience supporting commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting activities for industrial equipment or systems. Good understanding of project execution, cost optimization, procurement processes, and supplier management. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, sales, project management, and purchasing teams. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
