Job title: Electrical Designer
Your role:
Is to develop electrical (sub-) systems and solutions (including their validation, testing and troubleshooting) for Fixed Interventional Guided Therapy (IGT) systems, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team on applying research results and technology advancements to improve and release new advancements of Philips IGT Systems. Our system needs to fulfill all applicable international standards.
To develop the wiring / cabling design of a system, sub-system and component.
You should understand and communicate consequences of the design on the architecture and EMC. The creation, maintenance and quality of the library components in our cabling / wiring development software (E-Plan). Embedded hardware product testing.
Electronic component obsolescence management, creating safety test specification (IEC60601-1) for sub-systems, Set-up the test strategy and test plans to comply with international standards in alignment with the norm compliance department.
Perform quality and compliance tests with documentation.
Is in the Electronics team - Pune Department within the Mechatronics Development Cluster of R&D IGT Systems in Best, Netherlands. The department consists of an open and multi-cultural team working on lifecycle management (PQ&M) and new product introductions (PDLM).
The key competences of the electronics department are hardware infrastructure, interconnectivity, power infrastructure and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) on system level. We work with SAFe in Hybrid model.
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience in a professional engineering environment with at least 5+ years of experience in product development and / or measurement (preferable experience in IEC60601-1-2).
You have a hands-on experience in Embedded Analog and Digital hardware design, experience in new product introduction or life-cycle development in a regulated industry.
Hands-on experience of working in Agile SAFe environment is preferred.
You have driven quality and continues improvement Projects, demonstrated ability in reliability engineering.
Project management background will be an advantage.
VAVE hand on experience preferred
VAVE certification would be added advantage
