Design electrical power systems for data centers, including:
Medium and low voltage distribution systems
UPS systems, battery systems, and generators
Power distribution units (PDUs), switchgear, and busways
Grounding, bonding, and lightning protection systems
- Develop single-line diagrams, layouts, load calculations, and technical specifications.
- Perform power system studies such as short circuit, load flow, coordination, and arc flash (as required).
- Optimize designs for reliability, redundancy (Tier I–IV), scalability, and energy efficiency.
- International Codes & Standards

Ensure designs comply with international and local electrical codes and standards, including but not limited to:
IEC, IEEE, NFPA, NEC
Uptime Institute, TIA-942, EN standards
- Adapt designs to regional regulations, utility requirements, and climatic conditions.
- Project Coordination
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, architectural, IT, and controls).
- Interface with clients, consultants, vendors, and utility providers across different countries.
- Support technical reviews, design workshops, and value engineering sessions.
- Documentation & Deliverables
- Prepare and review design reports, calculations and drawing..
QualificationsPerson Specifications and Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience
- 15+ years of experience in electrical design, with significant exposure to data center or mission-critical facilities.
- Experience working on international or multi-regional projects is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of data center electrical infrastructure.
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SKM, or similar software.
- Understanding of Tier classifications and redundancy concepts.
- Familiarity with renewable integration, energy efficiency, and sustainability practices is a plus.
