All about the role:
We are seeking an Electrical Component Engineer with a strong electrical background to join an international product development environment characterized by close collaboration with global suppliers and cross-functional teams.
In this role, you will act as the technical lead for selected electronic components, taking ownership of their scope and coordinating activities across suppliers and internal stakeholders.
The role will support the design and development of electromechanical components, including both existing products and new introductions, for household appliances such as washing machines, tumble dryers, and dishwashers. The position contributes to the development, validation, and industrialization phases, working in compliance with established company processes, procedures, and standards.
The role requires you to analyze technical solutions with suppliers, factory and other functions. You will work autonomously and will solve a range of straightforward to complex problems.
This position is well suited for candidate who demonstrate autonomy, reliability, and a results-oriented mindset, and who is motivated to contribute to global product development programs. The role involves ongoing interaction with international suppliers and with internal functions located worldwide, within a structured, collaborative, and continuous-improvement-driven environment.
In detail, you will:
Design and development of Electrical & Electro-Mechanical components for care products
Support cost reduction and quality improvement projects of electrical & electro-mechanical components
Support urgency cases testing for electrical parts e.g., part shortage, discontinued part
Project team member, responsible for electrical components development
Create engineering drawings of electrical components
Ensure electrical safety and conformity testing according National and International standards (IEC, CE, UL, etc.)
Conduct functional and reliability tests according Electrolux test specifications and procedures
Supplier development and technical support
Cost reduction projects for electrical and electro-mechanical components
Quality improvement projects for electrical and electro-mechanical components
Qualifications:
Bachelor ’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or others related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Electrical parts development in R&D department, preferably from consumer electronics industry
Demonstrate effective communication skills
Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
Good English proficiency
Products Knowledge is a plus
Design & development of electrical components of household appliances
National & international safety and test standards
CAD (CATIA / NX)
Testing Procedures (Environment, EMC/EMI, Performance, Safety)
Where you'll be:
You will be based in our Żarów factory and report to Electrical Components & Sensor Manager in Porcia (Italy), Care R&D.

Skills Required
