This position reports to:
Marketing & Sales Manager__
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Creating, planning, and ensuring implementation of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
- Focusing on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders (by ABB and third-party), growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and on-time delivery as requested.
- Evaluating market opportunities, determining appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinating opportunities across local divisions and local business units, as appropriate.
- Ensuring balanced growth for all product lines, product groups, and business units and creating product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing value-based selling approach.
- Builds an effective, capable, and high-performing organization.
- Develops talent, and reviews effectiveness
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced business qualification preferred
- Minimum 15+ years of professional experience in marketing, sales strategy, product management, or business development, with proven track record in driving profitable growth and market expansion
- Strong strategic thinking and planning capability as critical competency
- Deep market intelligence capabilities to synthesize market data, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends into actionable strategic insights
- Portfolio strategy expertise in managing multiple product lines with differentiated market positioning, pricing, and go-to-market approaches
- Exceptional ability to navigate complex organizational matrices and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders (sales, supply chain, manufacturing, global product teams, finance)
- Proven track record in bridging front-end market requirements with back-end operational constraints; skilled at translating customer needs into realistic product roadmaps and supply chain solutions
- Talent development and coaching capability with demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and retaining talents
- Bilingual capability in English and Mandarin Chinese (fluent, professional level) for leadership communication in global and local contexts
