ERM México are seeking a Consulting Senior Associate to support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), environmental compliance, and sustainability projects throughout Monterrey or CDMX. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and field-based consulting, working closely with clients across multiple industries to assess compliance obligations, identify risks, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct EHS and environmental compliance audits at client facilities.
  • Assess compliance with Mexican environmental regulations, STPS requirements, and applicable state regulations.
  • Perform environmental and EHS site inspections and compliance assessments.
  • Support permitting, regulatory compliance, and environmental management projects.
  • Prepare technical reports, findings, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Review operational practices and identify compliance gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Support ESG and corporate sustainability initiatives, including environmental performance assessments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and client stakeholders.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assist clients in implementing compliance strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced English (required).
  • Availability to travel frequently (required).
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in environmental compliance, EHS consulting, sustainability, or related areas.
  • Experience conducting EHS and compliance audits.
  • Knowledge of Mexican environmental regulations and STPS requirements.
  • Familiarity with state-level environmental compliance requirements and Technical writing and report preparation.
  • Client-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to manage fieldwork activities independently.
  • Project coordination and organizational skills.
