Summary 

The EHR Integration Manager owns the front-end of the integration lifecycle, guiding clients from initial intake through readiness handoff to the execution team. This role ensures all EHR integration requirements, workflows, and technical specifications are fully captured, validated, and documented before project kickoff, enabling a seamless transition into active implementation.

By ensuring accurate, complete, and well-structured readiness deliverables, the EHR Integration Manager minimizes project delays, reduces rework, and enhances client satisfaction from the very start of the integration process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Intake & Readiness Assessment – Manage incoming EHR integration requests, review intake forms, and evaluate client readiness for implementation.
  • Client Engagement & Discovery – Act as the primary point of contact during the readiness phase; schedule and lead discovery calls to define integration scope, confirm system requirements, and gather supporting documentation.
  • Workflow Planning & Documentation – Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to confirm client system configurations, document dependencies in Jira, SharePoint, and Salesforce.
  • Stakeholder Coordination – Align cross-functional teams (Sales, Strategic Account Directors, CSMs, Analysts, EIT) to ensure project scope, requirements, and deliverables are clear and agreed upon.
  • Readiness Handoff – Deliver a complete, validated readiness package to the execution team, ensuring no gaps in requirements, technical specifications, or timelines.
  • Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to enhance intake, readiness, and workflow planning processes for future EHR integrations.

  • The Manager will lead a team of IT professionals within the EHR spectrum, inclusive of EHR Implementation Program Managers

Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on EHR solutions and project delivery
  • Extensive experience in healthcare IT, with a strong background in EHR Integrations and process improvements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Visionary Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and develop long-term strategies
  • Innovation: Proactive in identifying and implementing innovative solutions
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skilled in working across departments
  • Risk Management: Adept at identifying potential risks

Work Environment

  • Remote work environment. This role may require occasional travel to client sites, with potential exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST, with occasional overtime required during peak periods.

  • Thorough analysis: We classify variants according to our custom adaptation of the most recent guidelines. We then leverage our rich internal database for additional interpretation evidence.
  • Customized care: Our experts review all test results and write reports in a clear, concise, and personalized way. We also include information for research studies in specific clinical situations.
  • Impactful discovery: Our researchers continue working to find answers even after testing is complete. Through both internal research efforts and global collaborations, we have identified and published hundreds of new disease-gene relationships and developed novel tools for genomic data analysis.
