Manages client billing for diagnostic laboratory services, including invoicing, accounts receivable, disputed balances, reimbursement, client setup, pricing, and billing vendors. Leads and develops the Client Billing team, monitors performance metrics, resolves complex billing issues, prepares leadership reports, and improves workflows, policies, systems, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and HIPAA.

Manage end-to-end client billing for diagnostic laboratory services, including invoice review and submission, dispute resolution, balance follow-up, documentation, reporting, and collaboration with billing, reimbursement, market access, sales, and vendor teams. Ensure pricing accuracy, payer compliance, timely reimbursement, and process improvement while maintaining current knowledge of insurance requirements, laboratory coding, and regulatory changes.

Supports supplier-quality and post-market quality processes for IVD and software-enabled IVD products. Responsibilities include supplier qualification, audits, monitoring, change assessments, corrective actions, complaint and nonconformance investigations, CAPA support, quality trending, documentation, and audit readiness. The role partners with Procurement and Quality stakeholders, supports design transfer and supplier readiness, maintains QMS records and procedures, and identifies process improvements. This fully remote position requires up to 20% travel for supplier audits and qualification activities.

Leads implementation and continuous improvement of GeneDx’s IVD quality management system. Provides quality oversight for IVD and software-enabled product development, risk management, design controls, supplier quality, audits, inspections, CAPAs, management reviews, and regulatory compliance. Translates FDA and ISO requirements into scalable processes, coaches Quality personnel, monitors quality metrics, and supports cross-functional initiatives involving Regulatory Affairs, R&D, Software, Product, Clinical/Medical Affairs, and Cybersecurity.

Supports IVD and software-enabled IVD product-development quality systems, including design controls, risk management, design transfer, QMS documentation, CAPA, audits, supplier quality, and post-market processes. Serves as the Quality representative on cross-functional product teams, ensuring compliance with FDA requirements, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, and IEC 62366. Analyzes quality metrics, supports regulatory submissions and inspection readiness, identifies process gaps, and implements risk-based improvements.

Supports software quality processes for GeneDx’s in vitro diagnostic and digital products. Reviews software design controls, requirements, architecture, code-review records, verification and validation documentation, risk management, cybersecurity activities, and development files. Supports tool validation, nonconformance and CAPA investigations, audits, regulatory submissions, and continuous improvement. Ensures software engineering and bioinformatics activities comply with QMS, FDA, and international standards including IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and ISO 62366.

Leads FP&A and finance business partnership for Innovation & Technology, Lab Operations, and corporate functions. Builds forecasting models, planning cycles, dashboards, decision frameworks, and financial operating rhythms. Partners with senior executives on cost optimization, investments, business reviews, board-level financial narratives, and SIOP. Manages and develops a growing finance team while establishing infrastructure for a scaling organization.

Provide phone and electronic customer service for patients and healthcare providers, manage specimen submissions and documentation, release lab results per protocol, resolve client issues, place supply orders, and educate clients on billing and test requirements while maintaining accurate patient records and compliance.

Sell GeneDx genomic testing services to adult specialty physicians within a defined territory. Generate leads, build and manage a physician development pipeline, conduct in-person and virtual meetings, coordinate with operations for issue resolution, implement sales/marketing plans, and support events. Serve as first-line account management to ensure physician and staff satisfaction while working independently and as part of a team.

Provide on-site billing customer service for patients and providers via phone and email. Handle inbound/outbound queues, data entry, payments, refunds, claim submission, and payor navigation (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid). Own and maintain financial models and reporting to support AOP, forecasting, and monthly business reviews.
