Job Description

Role Overview

The EEMEAI Marketing Effectiveness Leader owns the commercial performance and development of NIQ's marketing effectiveness business across Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India. The role leads a regional team of four and is accountable for securing the region's revenue target, building a sustainable pipeline, and expanding NIQ's position with new and existing clients.

This leader must combine commercial judgment with technical credibility. The successful candidate will understand marketing effectiveness and media measurement and will bring direct experience in marketing mix modeling. They must be able to explain how MMM works, interpret modeling choices and outputs, compare MMM with other measurement approaches, and advocate credibly for NIQ's MMM solution with senior client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Commercial Leadership

• Own and secure the annual and quarterly marketing effectiveness revenue targets across EEMEAI.

• Set the regional growth plan, translate it into market and account priorities, and maintain clear visibility of pipeline, risks, and opportunities.

• Build new business while expanding strategic relationships with existing clients across FMCG, non-FMCG, media, and related sectors.

• Lead senior client conversations, proposals, presentations, and negotiations through to commercial close.

• Identify market opportunities and competitive threats and adjust the regional commercial plan accordingly.

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop a regional team of four, setting clear priorities, accountabilities, and performance expectations.

• Create an effective operating rhythm across a geographically diverse region, including pipeline reviews, forecasting, opportunity coaching, and capability development.

• Allocate resources to the opportunities with the strongest commercial potential while ensuring appropriate client coverage across the region.

• Build a collaborative, accountable culture and support team members in strengthening both commercial and marketing effectiveness expertise.

Marketing Effectiveness and MMM Leadership

• Act as a senior regional expert and advocate for NIQ's marketing effectiveness and MMM capabilities.

• Use hands-on modeling experience to explain model design, data requirements, methodology, validation, interpretation, and the practical application of results.

• Clearly articulate the advantages, capabilities, and appropriate use cases of MMM compared with other measurement and analytics solutions.

• Translate complex analytical concepts into clear business implications for marketing, media, insights, finance, procurement, and executive stakeholders.

• Shape client solutions that address commercial questions and ensure that proposals accurately reflect client needs and NIQ's capabilities.

Cross Functional Delivery

• Partner with country leaders, sales teams, analytics specialists, modelers, delivery teams, and product stakeholders to develop and execute regional opportunities.

• Support the transition from sale to delivery so that scope, methodology, timing, and expected outcomes are clear to both the client and project team.

• Bring client and market feedback into solution development and help strengthen NIQ's regional marketing effectiveness proposition.

• Represent NIQ in relevant industry forums, client events, and thought leadership opportunities.

Measures of Success

• Achievement of annual and quarterly EEMEAI revenue targets.

• A healthy, qualified pipeline with reliable forecasting and balanced coverage across priority markets and accounts.

• Growth in new clients, strategic account expansion, and adoption of NIQ's MMM and marketing effectiveness solutions.

• Strong team performance, capability growth, and clear accountability across the four-person regional team.

• High-quality collaboration from commercial development through technical delivery and client adoption.

Qualifications and Experience

• 10 or more years of relevant experience in marketing effectiveness, media analytics, advanced analytics, consulting, commercial leadership, or a related field.

• Proven experience leading teams and delivering results across multiple countries or a complex regional market.

• Demonstrated accountability for revenue targets, business development, pipeline management, forecasting, and closing complex analytical or consulting engagements.

• Strong knowledge of marketing effectiveness, media measurement, and the decisions these solutions support.

• Direct experience in marketing mix modeling, including meaningful involvement in model development, specification, validation, interpretation, or technical delivery.

• Ability to explain MMM methodology and business value to technical and non-technical audiences and to position NIQ's approach against alternative solutions.

• Strong executive communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent English. Additional languages relevant to EEMEAI markets are an advantage.
