EBUS Powertrain Development Module Manager

Responsible for designing and developing Powertrain Module (including Accelerator Pedal, Electric Drive System, Driveline, Thermal Management System, Control System - VCU calibration) :  

• Shape the development strategy (roadmap, architecture, design) to meet Vehicle program requirements (Timing, Price, Cost, Features, Performance, Efficiency…). 
  

• Carry out market research, competitive benchmark and technology intelligence to define and propose competive and optimal solutions to Vehicle program  
  

• Plan and coordinate development activities from system, sub-system to component-level, in collaboration with ESP and VF Engineering teams. 
  

• Manage and approve technical deliverables (SOR,SPB,DFMEA,DVP, Test reports), drawings, BOM releases and Engineering change/Deviation request. 
  

• Drive integration, verification, validation activities.  
  

• Lead relevant working group to resolve issues encountered. 
  

• Monitor development progress, review status, quality and assess risks at each project milestones 
  

• Control budget : BOM, investment & engineering costs. 
  

• Be first point of contact of Powertrain Module to provide technical expertise, guidance, sign-off to cross-functional teams  
  

• Follow and comply with company’s standards, processes consistently across development stages. 
  

• Apply lessons learnt and propose continuous improvements 
  

• Organize and prepare materials for regular cadence of agendas, minutes, decision records, etc 
  

• 8+ years experience in automotive industry 
  

• At least, bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering. 
  

• Founded expertise in the Powertrain domain: Electric Drive System, Driveline, Thermal system, Calibration, High Voltage Components, High Voltage Battery etc for ICE or PHEV or BEV or REEV 
  

• Demonstrated agility in operating within matrixed organizations and teams. 
  

• Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills to perform successfully in multi-national relationships. 
  

• Practical experience in authoring timing plans, management of deliverables tracking, program status. 
  

• Excellent communication skills and able to build strong collaboration with cross-functional teams from different areas of the company and with the key supplier. 
  

• Strong resilience and ability to deal with high pressure situations using a logical data driven approach. 
  

• Good proficiency with Powertrain engineering tools, software
