At AGL, we recognise that great candidates don't always meet every requirement listed. If you have relevant electrical experience and are passionate about renewable energy, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the planning and execution of maintenance, inspections and repairs across wind farm electrical infrastructure

  • Providing field leadership, coordination and on-the-job training for technicians and contractors

  • Supporting planning and delivery of outages and other complex electrical works

  • Preparing and performing electrical isolations, switching operations and access authorities

  • Developing work management documentation including permits, LOTO processes and work instructions

  • Supervising contractors and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

  • Assisting with troubleshooting and resolution of complex electrical faults across site infrastructure

  • Working with network service providers to coordinate switching activities

  • Promoting strong safety outcomes through risk management, safety leadership and adherence to safe access rules

What you'll bring

  • An electrical trade qualification and/or experience working in electrical infrastructure, power generation or related industries

  • Experience working with substations, reactive plant or other high-voltage electrical systems

  • Knowledge of isolation, switching and LOTO procedures

  • Experience supporting maintenance activities, outages or complex electrical projects

  • Exposure to wind farms, renewable energy or power generation assets will be highly regarded

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement

  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

  • A valid driver's licence and willingness to work in a site-based role

At AGL, we offer a wide range of benefits including:

  • Flexible working options.
