• Job Overview:
The E-commerce Sales Manager is a customer-facing commercial role responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for assigned accounts. The position focuses on delivering profitable growth for a brand, channel, or category through effective customer management, data-driven decision-making, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account-specific commercial plans aligned with sales, market share, and profitability objectives.
  • Lead relationships with key customers, understand their priorities, and negotiate commercial agreements that create value for both parties.
  • Identify growth opportunities in distribution, promotion, and category development across assigned accounts.
  • Manage the sales forecast, commercial pipeline, and key performance indicators for each account.
  • Analyze sales, market, and customer data to generate recommendations and support commercial decisions.

Job Qualifications

• Hard Skills:

  • Account planning, sales forecasting, pipeline management, commercial negotiation, and key performance indicator tracking.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, commercial modeling, and performance tracking.
  • Experience using customer relationship management platforms, preferably Salesforce.

• Soft Skills:

  • Clear communication and the ability to influence and negotiate across different levels of the customer’s organization.
  • Customer focus and the ability to build trusted, long-term commercial relationships.
  • Strategic thinking, results orientation, and sound judgment when prioritizing business opportunities.
  • Cross-functional collaboration, organization, and effective follow-through on commitments.

• Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience managing major e-commerce marketplaces or digital retail accounts.
  • Knowledge of digital shelf analytics, online shopper behavior, and e-commerce performance metrics.
