Business Intelligence Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and data-driven Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst to join our growing team and support one of our clients. This role plays a critical part in supporting strategic decision-making by transforming complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a passion for storytelling through data, and experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business intelligence solutions.

As a Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality visualizations, reports, and presentations that highlight financial and operational performance. Your work will directly support executive leadership, operations, asset management, and investor relations by providing transparency and clarity into key business metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations that communicate key financial and operational trends.

• Analyze large datasets from various internal systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, operational tools) and integrate them to produce cohesive, actionable insights.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.

• Automate recurring reports and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Contribute to strategic planning and forecasting by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

• Identify opportunities to enhance existing reporting processes and tools to better support business objectives.

• Participate in corporate meetings, training programs, and industry conferences as needed.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating the effectiveness of current KPIs and developing new metrics as appropriate.

• Work closely with IT and data governance teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all reporting platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

• 2+ years of experience in a business intelligence, data analysis, or reporting role.

• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

• Strong knowledge of Excel, SQL, and data manipulation techniques.

• Familiarity with financial modeling and understanding of key business metrics and operational KPIs.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams.
