SolarBalls, one of Telos Media’s flagship YouTube channels, has grown into a global cultural phenomenon — with 1.6M+ subscribers, 10M+ monthly views, 14 language translations, 100,000+ paid Patreon supporters, 360,000+ Discord members, and nearly $1M in merchandise sales in the past year. By blending fun, narrative-driven storytelling with educational entertainment, we’ve built a fandom that’s as passionate as it is wide-reaching.
Now, we’re scaling our online store and e-commerce efforts — and we need someone who’s scrappy, enthusiastic, and ready to thrive in a startup-like environment. You’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, solving challenges as they come, and making sure products get to fans around the world. Responsibilities

Fulfillment & Logistics Support

  • Coordinate with suppliers and fulfillment centers to make sure orders ship correctly and on time.
  • Troubleshoot issues with inventory, shipping delays, or product quality — and follow through until problems are solved.
  • Keep product stock updated on Shopify and ensure listings are accurate.
  • Support negotiations by gathering quotes and comparing options for shipping and fulfillment.
  • Manage inventory in coordination with our Finance team and ensure stocks are always available.

Store & Platform Operations

  • Create, maintain, and optimize product listings and updates in Shopify (Amazon experience is a strong plus).
  • Work with the team to improve listings for conversions across the funnel — product titles, descriptions, images, pricing, and SEO.
  • Leverage Shopify apps, reporting dashboards, and other e-commerce tools to maximize performance.
  • Partner with Marketing to align store experience with campaigns, promotions, and customer journeys.
  • Track sales and order data to identify bestsellers, slow movers, and growth opportunities.
  • Keep a sharp eye on performance issues – whether it’s shipping costs, returns, or delays – and jump in with fixes and improvements that make the store run smarter every week.
  • Use data insights to recommend promotions, restocks, bundling, and pricing strategies.
  • Drive initiatives to increase conversion rate and average order value (e.g., upsells, bundles, cross-sells).

Product Development & Launch Coordination

  • Work with the Marketing Manager, suppliers and other stakeholders to get new product ideas into production.
  • Research customer preferences, competitors, and trends in the creator economy, especially kids, animation, and educational merch.
  • Run fan surveys, polls, and feedback loops to understand demand and guide product development.
  • Coordinate timelines and communication between suppliers, designers, and marketing to keep launches on track.
  • Analyze post-launch performance (sales & customer feedback data), identify what’s working and what isn’t
  • Use insights to recommend product improvements, restocks, promotions, and marketing strategies for future launches.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, fulfillment, or a related support role.
  • Comfortable with Shopify (Amazon knowledge is a strong plus).
  • Familiar with Shopify apps, inventory systems, and analytics tools to maximize store performance.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and persistent when solving problems (non-negotiable)
  • Strong communicator — you can manage back-and-forth with suppliers and partners, and can be tough when necessary to ensure that there are no delays.
  • Analytical mindset — able to track numbers, spot issues, and flag solutions.
