Team / division overview

You will join the Product Specialist Alternatives, Solutions team, which is part of the Global Product Specialists & Development Alternatives team in DWS´ Product Division. This role is pivotal in driving growth and innovation within the Alternatives business, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and market demands. The Product Specialist Alternatives, Solutions team is responsible for managing and executing key growth initiatives and strategic projects, working across various business functions and regions to foster further growth and evolution of the Alternatives platform.

Role Details

As a Senior Product Specialist Solutions you will (be):

  • Implement tailored product solutions for institutional and retail/wealth clients within the Alternatives business, ensuring alignment with regional specifics in US, EMEA, and APAC markets.
  • Closely collaborate with Product Development, Client Coverage Division, Investment Division, Legal, Compliance, and external partners to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee and drive key growth initiatives and strategic projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, market opportunities and evolving client needs.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships across business functions and with external partners.
  • Standardize and optimize project management processes, including the implementation of a centralized tracking system to improve efficiency and transparency.

We are looking for:

Essential Skills

  • Strategic mindset with experience in product management, project leadership, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects from planning to execution.
  • Deep understanding of the Alternatives investment landscape, including private markets, credit, and structured products.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus. 

Education & Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.          
  • CFA, CIIA, or ESG-related qualifications are a plus.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in asset management, project management,  or product development.
  • PMI, Six Sigma, or similar project management certification is beneficial
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
