- Preparing mechanical drawings using CAD tools and engineering calculation methods.
- Following up the lifecycle of mechanical drawings from initiation to delivery to internal customers.
- Following non-conformance reports and taking necessary preventive actions.
- Preparing tender and/or contract mechanical design drawings in accordance with international rules, national standards, applicable GE standards and tools, material specifications (technical requirements, cost, procurement cycle), and manufacturing capabilities.
- Being aware of company and local EHS policies, rules, and standards; and performing preventive/corrective actions in collaboration with the EHS team to avoid accidents, incidents, and environmental damage.
- Minimum technical school graduation.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor.
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Experience in transformer design processes.
- Experience in transformer mechanical design.
- Knowledge of power transformer design.
- Sound knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
- Comfortable writing technical reports.
- Ability to prepare conclusion and analysis reports.
- Ability to work effectively under time pressure in a complex organizational structure.
