The Domestic Logistics Coordinator I supports SanMar's logistics operations by analyzing shipment needs, monitoring carrier performance, and resolving delivery issues. This role ensures timely, cost-effective shipping through proactive communication and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Manage delivery issues and requests efficiently using ticketing system and shared inboxes.
- Provide shipping and delivery support to internal teams, including Operations, Sourcing, Supply Chain, IT, Legal, Compliance, Purchasing, and Accounting.
- Identify and engage alternate carriers and freight services when necessary.
- Communicate proactively to minimize network delays and ensure timely deliveries.
- Track and report daily exceptions across all delivery modes.
- Review carrier rates, invoices, and ship documentation for accuracy.
- Participate in meetings with logistics partners, carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Contribute to projects, initiatives, and service improvements within Global Logistics.
- Coordinate and execute LTL and FTL shipments for internal and external customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
What Are We Looking For?
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, planning, forecasting, and/or freight auditing
- Exposure to Warehouse Management Systems/Transportation Management Systems/Freight Audit Systems and working with various carriers
- Experience in multi-modal planning for Parcel, LTL, FTL, IMC, is preferred
- Knowledge of overall logistics processes and/or freight auditing processes
- Excellent communication, time management, multi-task, and organizational skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, D365, and PowerPoint
- Be able to learn new software pertinent to logistics and the transportation industry
- Ability to research and apply related information to job functions
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work under strict deadlines
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Must be a team-player with strong interpersonal and analytical skills
What's Our Offer?
Salary Range: You`ll earn between $21.50 - $30.00 on an hourly basis, depending on experience.
Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 5% of base salary.
Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?
Hybrid: SanMar's Eastpointe office is located in Issaquah, WA in the Seattle metropolitan area. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Periodic travel may be required. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and participating in virtual and in-person meetings. Frequent use of hands for keyboarding and standard office equipment is required. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching may be needed to attend meetings or collaborate in an office setting. The role requires the ability to perform close visual work on a computer for extended periods. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10–15 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
