Broadridge is Growing! We are seeking a Documentation Specialist to join a stellar team on contract basis in a remote capacity. A documentation specialist manages, maintains, and organizes Client Relations documents, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations. This can include creating, storing, and retrieving documents, updating records, optimizing storage systems, and assisting with audits and inspections.

Work-Mode: This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.  

Job responsibilities:
  • Document management: Creating, organizing, storing, and retrieving documents, both physical and digital.
  • Quality control: Ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and meets internal standards and external regulations.
  • Compliance: Staying current on industry regulations and ensuring the company's documentation adheres to them.
  • System optimization: Implementing and managing document storage and retrieval systems.
  • Record keeping: Maintaining databases and version control for documents.
  • Audits and inspections: Assisting with internal audits and external regulatory inspections.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent writing and communication skills:
    • The ability to write clearly, concisely, and accurately, tailoring the tone and style to the target audience.
    • Strong verbal communication skills for collaborating with teams and gathering information.
    • Write clearly in English.
    • Learn complex technologies relatively quickly.
    • Explain complex technologies in useful ways for the target audience.
    • Wield strong interpersonal skills.
    • Understand/Leverage AI.

Editing and quality assurance:

  • Proofread and revise documentation for clarity, grammar, style, and accuracy.
  • Ensure consistency in terminology, style, and formatting across all documentation.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and documentation standards.
  • Capacity to quickly learn and understand complex technical concepts, products, and processes.
  • Experience working with or knowledge of specific technical fields, such as software development, engineering, or IT, may be preferred.

Hourly range $25-30/hr
