Digital Wealth is the fastest-growing client segment and distribution channel within BlackRock’s EMEA Wealth business. To capture this opportunity at scale, BlackRock has established a dedicated EMEA Digital Wealth business, bringing together expertise across Distribution, Marketing and Client Partnerships.
The UK Digital Wealth channel is one of the fastest-growing areas of BlackRock’s business, driven by the rapid expansion of self-directed investing and digital wealth platforms. This Sales role sits at the centre of that evolution, shaping how millions of investors access markets, investment products and advice. The team’s mandate is to accelerate growth by expanding access to BlackRock’s investment solutions through scalable, technology-enabled distribution models across leading digital platforms, fast-growing disruptors and the digital channels of incumbent financial institutions.
Reporting to the Head of UK Digital Wealth, you will be responsible for originating and advancing strategic partnerships that deliver measurable commercial outcomes, including asset growth, product adoption and platform integration. The role offers the opportunity to shape BlackRock’s position in one of the most important and rapidly evolving segments of wealth management, defining how investment products, technology and content come together to serve the next generation of investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain deep, senior-level relationships across the digital wealth ecosystem, driving strategic partnerships with incumbent investment platforms, retail banks and fast-growing fintechs
- Originate and execute partnership opportunities, orchestrating capabilities across BlackRock’s investment, marketing and technology functions
- Continuously evolve BlackRock’s value proposition for digital distribution partners, developing scalable partnership models that reinforce BlackRock’s position as a partner of choice
- Build and activate a strong network of senior industry relationships to unlock new opportunities and accelerate access to priority clients and prospects
- Translate market intelligence into strategy, providing leadership with actionable insights on platform trends, competitive dynamics and emerging business models
- Lead strategic initiatives to expand the channel, including new partnership models, platform integrations and go-to-market approaches
- Develop high-quality, differentiated client materials and commercial propositions to support business development and sales activity
- Develop and mentor team members, setting clear direction, raising performance standards and helping build a high-performing business development team
Experience & qualifications
- 7–10+ years of experience in financial services sales, business development or strategic partnerships, ideally across fintech, digital brokerage and/or asset management
- Deep understanding of the Digital Wealth and self-directed investing market, including digital platform business models such as online brokers, traditional banks, fintechs and robo-advisers, as well as the broader wealth ecosystem
- Strong understanding of global Digital Wealth trends, including evolving business models, technology and regulatory developments and their commercial implications
- Demonstrated expertise across the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity origination and proposition development through execution and long-term relationship management
- Proven ability to drive commercial outcomes and influence senior internal and external stakeholders
- Strong ability to operate collaboratively across functions, ask targeted questions and navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Strong knowledge of investment products and portfolio solutions, including ETFs, index mutual funds, active mutual funds and private markets
- Builder mindset, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and scale partnerships and initiatives from early-stage or underpenetrated starting points
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools effectively to improve productivity, analysis and decision-making, with the judgement to critically evaluate outputs
- Deep intellectual curiosity around business model evolution and a genuine interest in digital disruption
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong client and commercial orientation, with consistently high standards of quality and execution
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations, analyse complex data and translate insights into clear commercial narratives
- AI fluency, with the ability to use AI tools effectively in day-to-day work to accelerate research, analysis and content creation, alongside strong judgement in evaluating and refining AI-generated outputs

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all.
