Job Summary
Optimum Communications is seeking an experienced Director of Logistics to oversee the day-to-day operations of our 3PL operations. You will be responsible for promoting company values and our Supply Chain business plan. You will have oversight of inventory projects, company policies and processes, and 3PL team members. This is an engaging position requiring strong leadership and communication skills, special attention to detail, and demonstrating integrity, team building, collaboration, and excellence creating a high-performance culture.

- Ensure all SLAs metrics provided in the Statement of Work are being achieved
- Ensuring all inbound deliveries are verified and material is put away timely in an organized and secure location
- Partner with Supply Chain Analytics team to establish a KPI Report and maintain KPIs for regular review with 3PL partner
- Review open orders into the 3PL to manage item type, qtys, inventory on hand
- Review item substitution opportunities for Back Ordered items
- Partner with Field Supply Chain teammates to ensure deliveries are made timely and accurately
- Partner with other groups within the Supply Chain Team to strategize for best practices and seamless communication/awareness around order entry and replenishment activities
- Tracking and tracing: Performing track and trace functions to ensure on-time deliveries
- Monitor transactional costs and ensure ordering and material processing are being done to achieve efficiencies
- Ongoing review of the effectiveness of current strategies and finding ways to improve them
Qualifications
- Supply Chain and Operations / Logistics experience at a manager level or above
- Strong product / SKU and inventory management experience, including WMS systems, stock management and supplier management
- Oracle R12: Inventory Management and Warehouse Management experience is a plus
- Effective Communication Skills
- Project Management experience
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs
- Strong follow-up and accountability skills
- Proactive, well organized and motivated for high level performance
