Piper Jordan Health & Benefits Partners is seeking a Director, Strategic Partnerships to join our growing team in Las Vegas, NV.
The Director, Strategic Partnerships will play a pivotal role in driving sales, vendor strategy, and client growth across Piper Jordan’s health and benefits consulting practice. Based in Las Vegas, this full-time position requires a unique blend of pharmacy benefit expertise, strategic consulting acumen, and business development capability. The Director will report directly to the Managing Partner and will serve as both a client-facing advisor and an internal operational partner.
How You Will Contribute:
Sales, Consulting & Business Development:
Lead sales efforts with new and prospective clients, focused on pharmacy benefit consulting and broader health and welfare strategy.
Support the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to proposal, presentation, and onboarding.
Deliver consulting engagements focused on PBM evaluations, vendor management, cost-containment, and clinical benefit strategy.
Act as a clinical and strategic advisor, helping clients align benefit programs with organizational goals and population health needs.
Represent Piper Jordan at key industry events and client-facing meetings.
Collaborate with subject matter experts across pharmacy, actuarial, and compliance to deliver tailored, integrated client solutions.
Operations & Production Support:
Serve as a liaison between business development and operational consulting teams, ensuring alignment and smooth handoffs post-sale.
Support internal process improvements related to RFP tracking, pipeline reporting, and consulting deliverable quality.
Assist in the oversight of proposal production, final deliverables, and client-facing materials for both new and existing engagements.
Support internal team coordination, helping prioritize resource allocation and delivery schedules based on project complexity and deadlines.
Partner with leadership to monitor and report on production KPIs, revenue attribution, and client satisfaction.
Vendor Management & Strategic Partnerships:
Cultivate and manage vendor relationships (PBMs, specialty pharmacies, advocacy platforms, etc.) to support both client needs and new business development.
Serve as a thought leader in vendor negotiations and RFP strategy, especially in pharmacy and high-cost therapeutic areas.
Identify partnership opportunities that can enhance Piper Jordan’s value proposition and client offerings.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) strongly preferred; MBA or health-related advanced degree is a plus.
7+ years of experience in PBM strategy, pharmacy benefit consulting, or employer health benefits.
Demonstrated success in both sales and consulting, preferably within a boutique or national consulting firm.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of high-level client engagement and relationship-building.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across consulting and business development.
Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment; ability to operate autonomously.

Pay Range
$220k - $220k AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
