We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sourcing Director to lead our Category Strategy team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationship management. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership abilities and a deep understanding of market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide category strategies that deliver optimal cost, quality, and service outcomes, aligned with long-term business objectives.

  • Spearhead end-to-end governance of high-value, complex RFPs, driving transparency, accountability, and stakeholder alignment across global business units.

  • Champion enterprise-wide Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) strategies, embedding best practices across Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Audit, HR, and Insurance to strengthen value delivery and risk resilience.

  • Lead executive-level supplier engagement programs, including strategic reviews, satisfaction benchmarking, supplier segmentation, and thought-leadership forums.

  • Deliver strategic market intelligence through deep category insights and competitive analysis to inform decision-making and identify emerging risks and opportunities.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment between sourcing strategies and corporate goals, influencing at the executive level to drive enterprise priorities.

  • Negotiate high-impact commercial agreements, ensuring legal, regulatory, and operational compliance while maximizing total value from supplier partnerships.

  • Focus continuous improvement and transformation initiatives, leveraging digital tools, analytics, and process redesign to enhance procurement effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Foster strategic relationships with C-suite level suppliers and internal stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor to unlock innovation and strategic collaboration.

  • Establish and oversee KPIs and executive dashboards, driving data-informed decisions, performance management, and accountability across sourcing functions.

  • Serve as a global thought leader within the GS&PS function, influencing strategic direction and driving consistency across international teams.

  • Lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 15+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to inspire and motivate others.

  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of market dynamics, industry trends, and best practices in sourcing and procurement.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
