You will lead a team of functional consultants and analysts to ensure that the SAP ecosystem (specifically FICO and S/4HANA Finance) supports the company's financial goals, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. You will act as a key partner to the CFO and IT leadership to drive continuous improvement and innovation in financial reporting and processing.
ResponsibilitiesRequired Technical Skills
- SAP FICO Mastery: Deep functional knowledge of SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing, CO-PA).
- S/4HANA Expertise: Proven experience with S/4HANA Finance, including the Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, and Fiori applications.
- Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP Finance integration with other modules such as MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and PP (Production Planning).
- Reporting Tools: Proficiency in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or Group Reporting.
- Treasury & FSCM: (Preferred) Experience with Treasury and Risk Management or Financial Supply Chain Management.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define the multi-year roadmap for SAP Finance, ensuring alignment with global business strategies and the transition to S/4HANA.
- Solution Architecture: Lead the design of end-to-end financial processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
- Project Delivery: Oversee full-lifecycle SAP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between the Finance/Accounting departments and the IT organization. Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Team Management: Mentor and lead a team of 100+ SAP functional analysts and external consultants. Manage resource allocation and performance reviews.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure the SAP system adheres to internal controls (SOX), local tax regulations, and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve data integrity, and leverage new SAP features (e.g., Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, Central Finance).

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA is highly preferred.
- Experience: 15+ years of SAP experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Implementation History: Participation in at least 3 full-lifecycle SAP implementations, preferably including at least one S/4HANA greenfield or brownfield migration.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical executive stakeholders.
