We are looking for a versatile and dynamic professional to join Kempinski Harbour Heights Bahrain. The Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) for the pre-opening phase serves as the commercial architect behind the hotel’s launch strategy. This role is responsible for driving the pre-opening commercial roadmap—establishing brand positioning, building local and international account pipelines, and implementing data-driven marketing campaigns to ensure high-impact opening revenue across Rooms and F&B.

Pre-Opening Strategy & Commercial Planning
- Formulate and execute the integrated Pre-Opening Sales & Marketing Business Plan, budget, and launch timeline in alignment with Kempinski corporate standards.
- Conduct in-depth market feasibility studies, competitor analysis, and positioning strategies tailored to Bahrain's luxury hospitality landscape.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management to establish base-rate architecture, yield strategies, seasonal pricing, and inventory distribution channels.
- Lead all grand-opening activation events, PR narratives, and global press launches to establish immediate market share.
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Proactively target, contract, and build pipelines across key market segments: GCC Luxury Leisure, Corporate/Government, Travel Trade, and MICE.
- Establish strategic partnerships with global luxury consortia and Kempinski Global Sales Offices (GSOs).
- Drive total hotel top-line revenue across Rooms, Food & Beverage operations.
Marketing, Digital & PR Strategy
- Oversee brand-compliant luxury marketing campaigns across digital performance, CRM, localized social media, and paid media channels.
- Direct local and international PR agencies to secure high-visibility media features leading up to the opening.
- Ensure early deployment of the property website, booking engines, and digital content assets.
Team Leadership & Operations
- Recruit, build, and mentor the pre-opening Sales, Marketing, Events, and Public Relations teams.
- Establish Departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team.
- Manage vendor contracts and agency relationships.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
What Makes You a Great Fit; Who We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Luxury Hospitality Sales and Marketing, with at least 2–3 years in a senior leadership role (Director or as a Head).
- Market Knowledge & Network: Deep familiarity with the region luxury landscape, with an established network of local and international luxury travel agents, corporate buyers, and event planners.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of revenue management, budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven digital marketing.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting/exceeding sales targets and managing large-scale product launches or hotel repositioning.
- Communication: Fluent command of English; Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
