Job Description

The Director of Sales Enablement is responsible for the strategy development and execution across several critical areas in Sales. The primary focus for the role is to equip the overall go-to-market organization with the dialogue, content, resources, tools and skills necessary to effectively differentiate and sell Renaissance products and services.

This role has a direct impact on sales efficiency at all levels of the sales organization. Successful execution of this role will lead to sales pipeline acceleration, higher conversion close ratios, integrated selling, and achievement of growing revenue goals with the company.

In this role as the Director of Sales Enablement, you will:

  • Define, lead, and execute learning strategies for the Sales organization, including ongoing formal training roadmaps and associated workshops. 
  • Design and implement metrics to ensure consistent evaluation and measurement of enablement programs. 
  • Develop communication strategies to build awareness of critical metrics and ensure enablement strategies are in place to support skills development. 
  • Translate and incorporate Renaissance’s business strategy, industry trends and competitive intelligence into learning and development strategies to help sales achieve and exceed sales and renewal targets. 
  • Collaborate with our commercial leadership team to continually improve teams’ expertise and efficiency with sales methodology, selling skills, lead follow-up, communication skills, and usage of key systems. 
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and facilitators to ensure that learning paths are clearly defined, effective, and up to date. 
  • Influence Product Development and Marketing where appropriate for the development of content. 
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop a comprehensive strategy and delivery of learning and development. 
  • Ability to identify vital skills and knowledge gaps for our sales teams. 
  • Partner with sales leaders and outside vendors to strategize, develop and implement plans to improve the performance of our sales teams. 
  • Build, manage and develop teams of managers and individual contributors. 

Qualifications

For this role as Director of Sales Enablement, you should have:

  • Extensive knowledge in a variety of sales methodology concepts, practices, programs and processes. 
  • Build executive-level partnerships with internal and external partners that can be used to build strong cross-functional opportunities. 
  • Ability to create opportunities for development that will stretch individuals outside their current comfort zone as well as provide ongoing coaching and development of individuals. 
  • Highly knowledgeable in adult learning, sales tools/training that aid in the optimization of roles and success rates. 
  • Well versed in sales enablement tools (Salesforce, BI, Outreach, Highspot) 
  • Highly collaborative, driven individual who takes initiative and is skilled at breaking apart a vision into actionable steps. 

Bonus Points: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field OR 10+ combined years of success in a Sales and/or Sales Support or Enablement Leadership. 

Additional Information

Salary Range: $132,500 to $182,200 This range is based on national market data and may vary by location.
